My wife and I had the best time with other guests and learning from Peter what we were preparing and where exactly it came from. Food was sooo amazing...truly one of the best meal experiences we ever had and we had been lucky to enjoy restaurants all over the world. Peter is funny, knowledgeable, and obviously passionate about food, wine, and the whole experience. He makes sure that you will love everything...he opened so many bottles of wine just to make sure that he pleases ever palate that night and his wine cellar is impressive!   My husband and i took Peters cooking class last week. It was one of the top highlights of our 2 week vacation and possibly the best meal we had during... read more our stay. There was so much food and wine that i lost track of how many courses we ate and bottles of wine Peter opened. What i enjoyed most about this class, other than Peters sense of humor, is that Peter and his 2 assistants do most of the work. we got to just relax, eat and drink. We stayed in Praiano and took a water taxi over to positano which was 25€. Peters directions from the beach were a little unclear , but he answered his phone and guided my husband and I up to his place. He was also very helpful with arranging a taxi to drive us back to our hotel in Praiano after the class was over. You will have an opportunity to purchase oils and such from Peter as well. His wine cellar is incredible and he truly cares about what everyone’s preferences are. If you are lucky you might get a chance to see Peters little white dog. See my pics! Book it now!

Be ready to learn and think differently about food.

  BOOK THIS NOW. My wife and I were lucky enough to book this for our honeymoon. Just reading the description of this and receiving the first email from Peter... read more had me looking forward to this for months. I couldn’t have had higher expectations going into the evening and it still exceeded every one of them. The food was spectacular, the wine was free-flowing and delightful (he hand picks one for every person in the class based on their favorite variety), the views were stunning, and Peter was by far the highlight of it all.

We spent 2 weeks all over Italy and if I could relive just one of the the things we did - it would be this evening. He keeps the groups to an intimate size so you actually get to know the people you are with and has gets involved as you need him to as you prepare the dishes.

This is a 12/10. So many cooking classes in Italy are exactly what you would expect them to be - standard pizza and pasta making. If you want to to really learn about the region and the beauty of using local ingredients from someone who is very passionate about sharing his experience and time with you. Please go know further. This to me is an absolute must for anyone staying near Positano.

  From the moment my fiance and I entered Chef Peter's grounds, we knew we were in for a treat. The gardens, greenery, and views were straight out of a fantasy.... read more We began the evening with two scrumptious appetizers and sipped prosecco as chef prepared a fresh-off-the-boat slab of ahi tuna, what we thought was going to be the main course. Oh no, this was just the THIRD course, the best, freshest fish we've ever tasted. Following the tuna, we decended into the cellar for an education on Italy's array of red wines. And yes, we had another course while in the cellar. From there we selected several bottles of wine to taste and brought them back to the kitchen, where we prepared a simple, yet delectible pasta dish. The final course was served, a fantastic cut of dry-aged steak, accompanied by mushroom risotto. And of course, we can't forget dessert - by far the best creme brulee and tiramisu we've ever tasted.

I cannot express enough how much this experience meant to us. Sincerely, it was the absolute best experience we had while in Italy for two weeks. It will forever be the most memorable meal of our lives. If you have the opportunity to participate in this culinary experience, please do not pass it up. I promise you, by the end of the night you will feel like a thieve for everything you learn and consume at the price you pay for this "cooking class."

Chef, your passion for clean, fresh, real ingredients is inspiring. I didn't know I needed this experience on my bucket list, but even now after I've already done it, I'm adding it to the list! I hope someday I can return and live through this fantasy once again. Thank you for all that you do.

  Although our travel agent booked this for us we met Peter's dad out and about in Positano one day and he sold us on the experience before we even stepped... read more into Peter's house. Well worth it, from the new friends we made to the incredible flavors and dishes that were prepared, and don't get me started on all the wine. Wow! We had the best time and would highly recommend this. But make sure you have time because its all evening I think. I guess it does take a while to drink all that wine. Not sure how quick the lunch booking is. I couldn't think of anything that could have been done better and I will be booking this again if we ever return. Highlight of our whole trip.

We were in a beautiful home looking out onto Positano’s beach, with an amazing wine cellar and kitchen, and Peter really just invited us all in to share his passion for food. He’s an amazing chef and storyteller, and extremely knowledgeable about the food industry and taught us all a lot of sourcing good, delicious ingredients. We were working with top notch stuff like expensive knives, legit truffle oils and vinegar he made/sourced himself. We had at a mahi mahi caught earlier in the day made three different ways, and more wine than we could drink. He was very generous with all the food and wine he had, and really wanted to share his knowledge and passion about food. Rather than feeling like a customer who he had to make a margin on, he was very genuine when he told us that we wanted us to feel like we were in our own home.

We had a truly phenomenal experience just spending time with Peter and the other guests, enjoying great view, food and drinks! If you are in Positano and looking to splurge on one thing, make it Peter’s class.

I can't wait to start asking more questions and researching where to get higher quality food in our own backyard. Also this experience has phenomenal wine pairings with each dish. I joked at the end he is the Olivander of Wine for any Harry Potter fans out there. He curates a completely customized wine journey based on your answers to a few preference questions. I discovered so many favorite new wines from his incredible wine cellar.
